Could it possibly get any hotter? And why is it that 109-degrees 111-degrees outside means NOTHING to a two year old??

After five days of extremely hot – too, too hot – weather and five days of V begging and pleading to go outside and play, we finally gave in to the endless pleas yesterday. It took about a half hour before his face was a shade of red matching that of a fire engine. The kid was more than willing to play until he passed out from heat exhaustion.

It’s too hot to do anything at all – which means our TV has been on WAY too often and V is now officially addicted. Hurry up heat wave! GO AWAY – save me from Dora, Blues Clues and Noddy!!!!
